SALVAGED AMERICAN FLAG

IMG_0026.JPG

Antique lumber is not a commodity. It’s our history.

Our flags are built of lumber we salvage from  abandoned farmhouses, warehouses, century-old mining camps, and historic structures across the rural and urban Southwest.

These trees were felled & quartered over a century ago. They grew while grizzly bears still foraged the great tall grass prairies and the headwaters of the Colorado still reached the Sea of Cortez.

We’re old school. We don’t use dyes or paints.

All contrasting colors are the result of nature, time, and the historical southwestern structures we salvage from.

Quality antique lumber is a scarce resource. That’s why we explore & salvage it ourselves. We rev the chainsaw, we swing the hammer, we pull the nails.

Each flag is built with shiplap construction & hidden seams to allow the wood to expand & contract in both arid & humid climates.
